Usually this is a CPU overheating, bad memory, bad hard drive swap-space, or other faulty hardware. If nothing has changed in a long time them something has broken.

Try the CPU overheating fix it's free. Open the case and blow out all dust and make sure all fans are spinning.

You (or a tech shop) can chase that BSOD forever. If the computer is only worth a few hundred bucks and you have no time, just buy a new one if the problem persists it won't be worth fixing. If you have loads of time you can re-load windows "just in case" it's software however usually that BSOD creeps back.

Good luck,

Jason

Well, I got a BSOD ERROR message tonight. (BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH) Can
someone help me figure out what is causing the error?

The message is as follows:

STOP: 0x0000000A (0XE385EFF7, 0x000000FF, 0x00000001, 0x80465DC4)

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I've searched this error message on Google and have found that it can come
from almost anything. Knowing what the numbers and letters above mean will
help track its source. Unfortunately, I don't know what the above means..

Error happened while surfing and the computer re-booted just fine. Not
sure why, but I have a feeling that I'll see this error again soon.

TIA,

JIM
