Well actually Ken you weren't doing the same thing over and over, unless 
you married the same woman 4 times.  By marrying 4 different women with 
different personalities, likes / dislikes, etc. (coupled with your 
increased knowledge, wisdom, patience, relationship skills that come 
with age and maturity), you had a good chance each time of things 
working better than in the past.
