Sorry for the bad formatting on that first post. Let's try that again.

I wish you hadn't said that last bit ... I just went limp. I assume you mean
there is some similarity from the front
(www.supercars.dk/images/products/mazda-rx8-supercar.jpg)

"Keep in mind that it is effectively a rebodied Quattroporte. Which may not
be a bad thing, and compared to the GT/Spyder, is probably a very good
thing. But it's a LARGE and HEAVY car. Think of it really as a competitor
not so much for the 550/575, but rather to the 612, the XKR, the DB9, or the
Continental GT. Basically, its for guys who would usually buy a CL550 but
want the new flavor of the month."

You're right. I just love the looks, and although the latest Gran Sport seems
to be more of a driver's car (Great Top Gear video here:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=aTN89LxRBbM), its looks don't do it for me.

"If you were truly thinking 575/550, instead of 360, then you may consider
the GranTurismo, but if you're looking for more sporty, forget it."

I have put a fair number of road miles on the Bentley, the 550, and the 360.
The 360's lines don't work for me. I want something classic, hence my bias for
the front-engine layout. I wanted an honest-go-god stick shift, minimal
electronics, and about 400 HP. I had pondered a Z8, which I have driven quite a
bit too, but when I saw that new Alpha 8C, ohh momma! See the family
resemblance at:

God bless Italian design. But the price tag on the 8C is up there. I wonder how
that will fare in the long term market?
