There are a number of threads on ferrarichat.com The problem areas seem very few, by Ferrari standards: 1) Weak coolant hoses under the intake plenum (Ferrari has updated hoses, but many use aftermarket silicone replacements) 2) Broken motor mounts. 3) Fuel pump failures. Apparently there are parts on the fuel pump (which is inside the fuel tank) that crumble or disintegrate. Requires removal and cleaning of fuel tank, and replacement of fuel pump. Replacement pump will eventually have a repeat of the problem. The 550 is a great car. I drove a friends and I was very impressed with how nimble and well it drove!
