Just as important, 1995 tires if still on the car, would be hard as rocks,
and not perform well.

There is more grip in the rear, which helps reduce the # of dramatic TTO
spins.  And tire technology has probably advanced as much in the last 12
years as any other part of the car.  Dramatic, noticeable difference.

How much better does the car handle with 295s vs. 265s?
