Gotta agree with Hans, people get all wrapped around the axle about
distributor caps and rotors, but how often are they actually replaced?  They
seem to last a looooooong time.

Don't be too paranoid about those distr caps.  Mine are over 30 years
old and look like new inside.  I'm sure that the electronic boxes have
helped that a bit.

I originally researched aftermarket alternatives to the factory
twin distr setup, but never did anything about it.  Now I'm glad,
as the OEM modified with the optical pickups works just fine.
