Hey Scottie, 
I care.  I've been wondering what the deal was ever since the points  got 
stripped.  Was speed prohibited from doing the calculation and  broadcasting 
it?  
i think it very strange that the media didn't report the  "if they were still 
in the hunt" points numbers.  so  thanks.  assuming that sticks, it makes the 
asterisk in the record  book inconsequential.

In case anyone  else cared.

Even if they had not been stripped, McL would have come in a  close  
second, at 203 points, to Ferrari's 204 points.

Of  course, this is pending the outcome of the current nonsense.

If you read  the details of the Steward's report, I don't see how McL  
can sustain  their appeal.  Since the stewards determined that the  
information  required to determine if there was a violation was not   
available.  Is the FIA going to make that info appear from the  void?
