Interesting event that wasn't as bad as expected....but it still fell
short because there were no "family" members present.

LS made the right call here as far as seeing "normal" cars hehe, but I
figured to check it out since I know the organizer and thought
donating money to charity was an honorable thing to do. ;)

There were the usual plethora of Murcis, Gallardos, 360s, and 430s,
911s, etc. but a few cool upper echelon cars made an appearance like a
Carrera GT, MB-McLaren SLR, F40 and an Enzo.....ON THE ROAD, not
parked for show. Got to see the F40 in action and it was
glorious....was the only car I heard in a pack of 6 cars or so.

Honestly, just seeing these cars was okay, but nothing too special for
me anymore. What was cool was the fact that they closed down a few
miles of the Long Island Expressway to allow these supercars to go
CRAZY!

Unfortunately the video ends before the madness begins but feel free
to use your imagination to conclude it yourself. :)

Lashdeep, if you would have brought up the Mallett it would have been
one hell of a run that I doubt could be matched in the Mid-Atl or near
Montreal. You would have had your opportunity to show up these kids in
their M5s, M6s and Gallardos!

There were numerous claims of cars hitting 180-200 mph...what is
confirmed is that everybody got their cars well into very illegal
range. :)

Question....is a few miles of cop-proof driving worth $100 to you?

Anyways, some footage of these cars pulling out....there's a nice Enzo
drive by in the first 10 seconds:

And there's pure comedy right around the 2:25 mark...someone explain
to me how you manage to do that with an AWD car on dry pavement!
