My father had to have one kidney removed about 32 years ago, when he was
about 37. He is now 69 and having only one kidney has not affected him at
all. Sorry Willy, I don't think it affects the trips to the bathroom. With
respect to donating a kidney, I am not a physician, but I do believe tissue
matching is more important than just having matching blood types. If it
comes to it, that would be such a great thing to do for your wife.
