Britt?I own a TR and have driven a 575M. Needless to say, there is a cosmic
difference between the two. To own and drive a TR, you need to have passion
for it is a labor of love?and I have the passion, that is for sure. I?ve
been to London several times on business at Bracknell, and I can see where a
512TR may be a little problematic for you, even in the beautiful English
countryside. But I have to tell you, the 2004 575M I drove is really
something also. I?ll have a shot at a silver 2004 in about a year or so,
when my buddy takes delivery on a 599. Depending on the price, I?ll probably
add it to the herd?

Thank you for your note.

Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Ferrari Prices ala Clyde

I have always found Clyde pricing pretty much on the money and what he says
applies over here as well. A dealer is advertising a 1998 550 right now,
red/black, 30 thousand miles, with Daytona seats for £44k. There are people
asking that for 355s still! For 55k you can get a late 550....I have been
hunting for a 512TR but seeing as 550s are getting so low it seems I would
be better off with the newer design....A 550 is a much better overall car in
terms of build than a 355 and its quick. The 575 of course is even better
but still in the region of 70-100k here in the UK.

Clyde. How good of a deal are 550s right now? Most folks that I think are in
the "know" say get a 575M instead, of course, that is easy to say, and
sometimes tough to do.

BTW.the last "Clyde's Real Market Newsletter" that I've saved is from 2005.
Do you have any plans to issue another, more current volume?????

Yer interested pal in Billarywood, Minnesota...
