Ferrari seems to have
Americanized the ride on the 575 vs the 550 which handles better
You will never get the looks with a 5 series

I had a nice chat with some of the Ferrari tech guys recently and they said
the 575 suspension was DESIGNED for the USA market where the customers like a
softer suspension. It was TOO soft for the Europeans hence the development of
the Fiarono (sp?) handling pack...thus you can get the 575 with the softer
suspension.

Same with the 5 series actually, the UK cars are not the same as the USA
cars with the softer plusher ride (the UK cars also have less equipment and
cost
about twice as much with less warrenty!) however for whats on offer as
competition and with the dealer network its a great road warrior car and the
torque of the diesel coupled with the mileage has this petrol head as a diesel
convert. I don't have it for the LOOKS Clyde, its an appliance, a tool, the
Ferrari is for the LOOKS! :)
