There is an interesting article out there about the increase in atmospheric 
temps over the US  in the days after 9/11 due to the abscense of vapor trails 
from the jets flying over this country......seems the gas hogs do some type of 
good up there.....

emissions contribute the same 2% of carbon emissions that aviation does!
