Strangely enough, the atmosphere of Mars has also gotten measurably warmer over 
the last few centuries.  Global warming on three separate planets circling the 
same star would tend to make one think there is a bigger issue, and it is 93 
million miles away from here.  I think global warming is an established fact, 
but I seriously doubt we humans have any real affect on it.

Be that as it may, I do believe our consumption of fossil fuels is a huge 
problem, but mainly because we are bankrupting ourselves to pay for it.  
Sending all our money over to finance the people dedicated to destroying us 
seems to be a really stupid thing to do.  Kind of like trying to fight World 
War II, but sending all our Lend/Lease aid to Germany and Japan.

Gas in the US should have a $10 per gallon tax on it, and the proceeds used to 
fund free mass transit for all who wish to use it.  That would get all those 
huge SUVs off the road so the rest of us could enjoy our Ferraris.
