Back to carry.  If you want a small, lightweight 9mm, do consider the 
Keltec P11.  It's inexpensive, light weight, pocketable, accurate to 50' 
if you practice, and you can feed it 11 +P defensive rounds.  It's a DOA 
with a heavy and long trigger pull than needs its optional trigger shoe 
installed.  Not high quality, but it will get the job done.  I don't 
usually carry, but if I'm going to Boston at night and my wife is 
wearing things that glitter, it's the gun that's in my pocket.
