"The Corvette beat many on the list including the hybrid." Amazing. This shitbox GM sportscar is going to result in some SCARY tuning numbers. Look for a pulley/ECU Flash and a set of mufflers ($1500) to see 725bhp or more. 900bhp with simple bolt on parts? Then...they'll win Le Mans. This powertrain is the Kurtz compound and Death Star combined. We're about to enter an era of science fiction... ----- Original Message ---- From: Hans E. A couple of years ago, AutoWeek did a real world gas mileage comparison using 2 cars from each continent (ie - 2 Japan, 2 Euro, etc.) They had a Japanese hybrid and a Euro diesel included. For the American cars, they threw in a Corvette just for giggles. Guess what? The Corvette beat many on the list including the hybrid. I've personally gotten over 30mpg in them. Hans.
