Hahahaha...I wish! You have to be kidding!

I think it's not too bad, really.

Take out the $50k I'm spending on it right now, and the running costs have
been ok for the last 10 years.

You can't escape the inevitable, though. 

The car's 12 years old...if I want it perfect, then I have to paint it and
do the rebuild. I COULD have kept it how it was, but I've chosen not to do
that.

The worn valve guides was a "must do", however.
