I must say that cost of ownership was a concern for me and yes, I have
waited for the right moment to buy one with that in mind.

That's why I've bought a 328 (could have been a Mondial or a GT4, but
a 328 came up at the right moment) , a car that I can maintain myself
and not pay the local dealer 10,000 euros for a major revision !!! Oh,
and wait three months for the car .... Besides, I enjoy doing it
myself.
(Our local dealer is much more interested in the recent cars and even
told me so upfront.)

Around here that is a concern for almost every Ferrari owner I know.
Some even say that the most wealthy are the worst clients :-)
