It seems ironic that just as Audi wins Le Mans with a diesel and a whole panoply of emerging technological solutions to automotive propulsion are on the horizon F1 chooses to freeze any further power- plant development for 10 years. It's reminiscent of NASCAR, which nows consists of identical clown cars distinguished only by their paint job going 'round and 'round with their Jurassic-era carbureted pushrod engines like so many brightly colored Skittles being flushed down a toilet bowl.

I certainly don't feel the same passion I did 8 years ago! Same with F1. I guess working it left me enjoying the show, just not the teams. ...and I couldn't give a wet flip about the drivers.
