Well, my original email wasn't really talking about cost of ownership.  That 
just happened to be the subject of the article I was pointing to in regards to 
a problematic 550 Maranello (maybe that article was not a good choice).  The 
main point I was trying to convey was to start a discussion on the differences 
in problems between F355, 456GT, and the 550 Maranello.  That article was a 
reference for 550 issues; I have personal experience with my F355; and have no 
experience with 456GT issues.

I didn't read Naweed's original email, but while cost of ownership is
not my primary concern, it is *one* of my primary concerns.
Discussion of cost of ownership and comparing/contrasting different
models is a fruitful way to keep this ferrarilist on topic, if nothing
else.  ;-)
