My 355 is in the process of getting and engine rebuild and a full respray.
Once this is done, the car will average costing me just over $10k per year
all up.

I think owning a Ferrari is about personal passion. If the cost of ownership
is the buyer's primary criterion, then he should buy a Toyota.

Reading constant whining and complaints about what a Ferrari costs to own is
boring. For the Ferrari owners that whine and complain, the solution is
easy. Sell the freakin' Ferrari!!!  For those wannabes that don't own a
Ferrari, to borrow a line from Jack Nicholson in his latest flick, "Nobody
cares what you think". 

No snob content meant or implied. You either the cars for they are, or you
don't.
