Ferrari Mailing List: K&N and MAP Sensor Question

Some time ago i believe someone made a post regarding  MAP Sensor failures as a 
result of the oil residue from K&N filters on their Ferrari.
Am i remembering correctly and was that determined positively to be the cause 
of the MAP sensor failure. I had a MAP failure  not too long after instaling a 
K&N filter in another car of mine and wanted to  find out if this is a known 
cause .
