Ferrari Mailing List: (NFC) Tivo Options

No question, I've decided to purchase a Tivo.  We finally bought the
HDTV (a rear projection Samsung LED DLP, incidentally).

I don't like the price points of the HD Tivos, and I'm pretty
insistent on getting a lifetime subscription.  Tivo makes it at least
a little more difficult to get lifetime subs now, but here is one
option:

I'd also consider the series 3 HD that they appear to be phasing out,
but only if I can find an affordable way to add lifetime to it.

Any other thoughts?  I keep striking out on eBay (have bidnip'ed on 4 so far).
