Ferrari and failure to warm up - ahhhh, yesh. I have only seen a few cars
that demonstrated adverse action when failure to warm was ignored - and all
of them were - - - - Ferrari's. Two 512 TR's (1 oil filter explosion and 1
ring gear - teeth striped off) and the last one was a Ferrari based raced
car at Willow Springs raceway - high desert - in early morning -
Raraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh - kaPAM. Another oil filter. Split seams. Rust
inhibition program at work. heh heh

What is the list concensus on letting your 3x8 idle/warm up? I'd prefer to get in her and go, however the packed snow/ice on the roads are precluding me from that. Secondly, I know that if I let my GT4 sit for more than 2 weeks, she turns into a real b*tch! So, what I do is I'll fire her up and let her idle up to temp. (15-20mins..) During that time I'll check out all my hoses, make sure clamps are tight, fiddle around in the garage and generally stink up the place. I'll then shut her down and check the oil.
If the ice would get out of my Cul de Sac, I could drive her around my neighborhood!!! :(

I always run light until temps come up.
I hope to go over the 100K mark in this little GT4!!

Foreplay is everything Let it warm up!
I never ran my 308 hard until the oil temp came off the peg and I had over 100k on when I sold it

Ok, since we are talking Ferraris today....
