I am pretty sure its the input seal. The tranny works perfectly, silky
smooth and I don't want to pull it to fix this. Its just to much work and
expense
for a leak. There aren't any "tranny pros" over here for Autos much less for
a 400i tranny. At the going rate of Ferrari mechanics it would be a hefty
bill and no guarantee they know what they are doing anyway with a GM auto. I
know that a cure in a can is not a sure thing but thought I would give it a go.

Where is it leaking?

Pan gasket? (which would be easy to fix)
Input seal? (Minor difficulty to change - tranny pro
could do it in 1/2 day on a "regular" car. 400i, I don't know)
Tail housing seal? (should be easy to change.)

Unfortunately, most TH400 leaks that I've seen were in the
input.

I don't know of a 'stop leak' product that I would trust, but
try getting an estimate from a tranny shop. It might not be
that bad.

Hans.
