You are, of course, correct. I should take it back and complain. They may fix
it, or may not. It has been a while since the accident repair. It was done
four years ago. Problem with that is that:

1. I hate hassles, and they would be sure to question whether they did it or
not.

2. If they screwed it up the first time, I really don't trust them to do it
right the second time.

The accident happened at night coming home from work. Other cars fault.
Damage to RF corner. Her insurance paid with no complaint. Said I could take
it anywhere to get fixed. Symbolic (allegedly) has a full restoration facility
for exotic cars. Thought they would do a good job on it. I am sure that they
could have fixed anything structural that they found without the insurance
company batting an eye about it. There was evidence that corner had been hit
before. The bad welds could have been there at the time. But doing a correct
repair would have required replacing all that junky work. They didn't do it.

I thought the car would have to be totally repainted, but they assured me they
could accurately match the paint. Grudgingly, I went along with it. They did
a fine cosmetic job. Paint looked good in sunlight, but an obvious mismatch
under artificial light. Turns out the insurance paid for a topnotch job, but I
got an Earl Schieb quality job.

I'll never take it back there.
