OH yeah - recall those rolling starts at the Times GP when we are standing at the start finish with the flag guy at the race start? Here they come, rolling around turn 9 (then, the bottom half of a 1/2 mile asphalt oval track) and then the flag guy waves green? OH YEAH - nuthing like it again. The Over 2 litre and Under 2's with Pedro Rodriguez in the Ferrari and a pile of Porsche Carrera 6's. Ahhhh, Willi - thems was the times, eh?

God, I remember being at Riverside when Bruce and Denny blasted by 20 feet away at full chat in their McLarens, the ground shaking beneath my feet, spilling half the beer out of my cup. For me it was a real 'Come to Jesus' moment that I'll never forget! Ach, the memories ...

One of my 54-M classmates relayed these to me.? The aviation ones are pretty precious and the cars speak for themselves . . . .
