Hey Tom: Don't let not being able to bring Mario with you stop you from coming! Heck, 99% of the people that attend Pebble Beach don't bring their 'fun' cars either. Alas, present physical limitations prevent me from bringing my 'Shitbox' too. I'll still be there, gimping along with my cane, but my heart full of love for everything Ferrari. See you there, I hope. As stove in as I am now, I think I can still beat cLyDe?in a 50 yard dash. He chickened out in Indianapolis, maybe this time? Move over, Bolt - here comes Bubba. Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba -----Original Message----- From: Tom Reynolds: I won't be going to Memphis, as I'm sans Ferrari for the rest of this lifetime.? But, if you go, have a good time with the 348! I'll have to get a copy of it. ? I'm getting the same sort of feeling from the TV show, that I'm watching right now,?"Dogtown" on National Geographic?Channel, only it is tempered by a feeling of hatred towards Michael Vick. ? My big problem with flying into Tucson is that FedEx wants too much money to overnight my MB G-wagon. I've tried using rental 4x4's to explore in the desert but when you read the fine print even though you are renting an off-road vehicle, they prohibit you from taking it off-road and it voids the insurance. I'm not sure how they would take only getting GPS coordinates as a location to send their wrecker <g>. And, of course there is the problem of finding a rental 4x4 with the G's capabilities. I'm afraid that in the worst case I'd have to trailer it out there with an more Interstate highway (and fuel mileage) friendly vehicle and then doing as I please with it since I own it. ? Are you going to be at Memphis this Oct.? ? Regards, ? Steve ? In a message dated 9/5/2008 7:43:35 P.M. Central Daylight Time, kjtar [at] cox.net writes: J.A. Jance's books about Joanna Brady.?
