Ferrari Mailing List: 308-in-08 on the road!

Good morning gang. 

It has begun. The 308-in-08 weekend has begun. Nancy and I drove from Houston 
up to Dallas (Allen) Texas last evening thereby completing the first leg of the 
pilgrimage. Sadly, we drove the Mercedes as the 308 isn't currently street 
legal.

Its early morning here and I'm fully awake. Well, as awake as one can be before 
coffee. We have spent the night with Ric and Wendy Rainbolt. I'm beginning to 
hear sounds of life returning as morning breaks so we'll be up and on the road 
to Tunica soon. 

Today we'll have Ric's 360 Modena on the trailer with my Benz as the chase car. 
And as F1 has taught us, Mercedes should always be behind the Ferrari. 

So the event has begun. We expect to be on the road this morning no later than 
10am for an arrival in Tunica by about 6pm. It will be a long but enjoyable day!
