Have you thought of using your local yellow pages? Shipping costs these days kills a lot of "deals" especially heavy ones like a box of metal. I was surprised I was able to find a wholesaler just a few miles from my house that was willing to deal with me on single item purchases to bulk. They even looked up what I needed with me bringing in a broken original in which I had no idea of size and grade. Local shops and manufacturers have to get stuff too. I was lucky mine was a referral of a local machine shop but when I needed to call them one time, they were listed in the good old fashion phone book. Maybe a google search with your location might generate a local source. Also, you can probably custom order what you need and not get unnecessary hardware like in those boxed sets. Good luck.
