I've bought numerous assortments of fasteners from the Bolt Depot -
http://www.boltdepot.com/ - they offer both Metric and SAE fasteners and
assortments - I think I have 6 of the plastic trays filled with metric
fastners - with 2 SAE assorments. The assortmrnts are usually around
$30-$35 and have saved me a lot of trips to the hardware store -
Have been very happy with their products - Sincerely, Larry T (74 911, 91 300D 2.5T) www.youroil.net Oil Analysis Kits & Porsche Posters/Weber parts .----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael James" <cavallino_rapante [at] yahoo.com>

I have found the following sites to be quite good in sourcing Automotive hardware for my 308:
http://www.fastener-express.com/ http://www.belmetric.com/ http://www.winzerusa.com/?oout=x604frSome of the trim hardware is difficult to source, but Google is your friend. Lowes/Home Depot is ONLY useful if you have one of the SuperStores handy, and the idiots behind the counter bother to restock and re-sort the cabinets' inventory now and then.....

my dream and own an 81 308 GTSi. Although I own lots of metric tools, I have very little in the way of metric hardware, nuts & bolts etc. Does anyone know where I can get an assortment of these, preferably in a pull-out drawer cabinet? Thanks.
