I'm not saying the tax is a good/bad thing, but it is ironic that people who have not paid the Guzzler tax (and who aren't in a position to pay it anytime soon) are the ones who are complaining about it, and the people who actually DO pay this Guzzler tax aren't complaining at all.....the addition of this surcharge is insignificant relative to the other expenses incurred with the car. What they ARE complaining about is getting the car in the first place, getting it with the options they ordered, and how much over-sticker they have to pay to be the first one on their block to have the latest-and-greatest in their driveway (which adds much-more to the sticker than anything else). The Guzzler tax is not, nor has it ever been, a financial deterrent to anyone in-the-market for new machines. It only gets paid once... --- On Wed, 11/12/08, Matt Boyd <ferrari308driver [at] gmail.com> wrote: From: Matt Boyd <ferrari308driver [at] gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Are Ferraris Losing Their Good Looks? Do you think any of these 'extras' make the car go faster? These folks don't care about the money, good for them. Care to guess that the California won't sell well, even in this economy? _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/cavallino_rapante%40yahoo.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
