Hey, I think I know that customs guy - the biggest issue with our entrance
into the BVI was the toy our son dropped on the floor, and they all
scambling to pick it up for him - all in all, a GREAT place to visit. Just
don't let your son order at Foxys on Jost Van Dyke, next thing we know we
are picking up his lobster tab...... great son, great taste :)

I presume that Argentinian Customs might be a bit more stringent than the
"agents" in the Caymans. It's a little easier-going in the Caribbean. :) I
remember one time that about 10 of us "flew" through immigration from the
USVIs into the BVIs. We pulled up to a dock, the boat captain got off, took
our passports with him into an office (along with a case of beer and some
pineapples) and 15 mins later our passports were stamped and we were on our
way!

The hardest part is getting the money ONTO the boat (which ain't that hard).
Once that's done, however, it's smooth sailing. :)

HA!

I am on work assignment in Buenos Aires. Tell that to the schlep that flew
from
Miami to Buenos Aires and tried to walk $800k USD through customs in a
suitcase. He did not make it. After that it was a big mess, accusations that
the
money was from Chavez to the Kirschner's by way of Miami. Chavez countered
with a CIA / Bush plot against him, etc etc. Still not settled, but it is
sort of funny.
