Yes it is true and despite the incredibly high costs here of labour and tax I find the repair bits much better priced and frankly I am astounded and what the heck you get charged in the USA for work. Its criminal. I put it down to lots of quality competition here in the UK from independent shops plus a huge number of dealers for the geographic size of the UK. While Ferraris are exotic here as in the USA nobody here is going to pay "exotic" prices for quality work. The best people I know (including the guy that did the F40 sold in the Passione sale in May) charge 60% the rate that my local BMW dealer does for labour. Don't forget we also have lots of F1 teams here in the UK with the subsequent carry over of trained engineers and technicians. In short, lots of quality people and competition coupled with a reluctance to pay stupid prices for labour means it is all kept reasonable. Regards, Britt Hey Britt I am reading a UK mag called Top Gear and in the back I have noticed ads for Ferrari service well below on what we pay here in the states How's that?
