Its all over the news here because they are a big employer. Reporting today that they have several buyers lined up who are serious. Ross Braun was interviewed for the morning news shows about this and says he has a great car for next season and its a quick way to get up high in the F1 stakes. If you look objectively it is hard to understand how the money can be justified for anybody right now in F1. Toyota is rumoured to be next.. I hate the idea of a single engine, it would ruin the sport for me however it makes sense if you look at the cost savings.. F1 is a rich mans sport and with even places like Dubai in major financial trouble, you have to wonder where the money is coming from. Britt Evidently no engine supplier as this article mentions Ferrari as a possible engine supplier for whomever ends up with the chassis'. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2008/12/8755.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Lindsay" <rolindsay [at] yahoo.com> To: "Daniel" <edwf430 [at] att.net> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Sent: Friday, December 05, 2008 10:00 AM Subject: Re: [Ferrari] HOnda quits F-1 Next year >I guess the real question is; Does this mean that they are just not running >a 'works' team or does it mean that they will also no longer be an engine >supplier?
