I've installed at least a dozen Stebro systems over the past several years, albeit none on a Ferrari as of yet. I have not had any major issues with build quality, or fitment other than needing a minor tweak here or there to get it to fit properly. That being said, they are not as pretty as a Tubi or some of the other systems out there. The Tubi on my 308 was so pretty when I got it, that I thought about hanging it on the wall as a form of art :-) However, their customer service sucks. Although I have never had any trouble ultimately getting what I've been promised, it takes 2-3 times longer than they say, which wouldn't be so bad if they would just be honest in the first place, but they choose to just plain lie about it. Unfortunately for some of the lines of cars that I work on, stebro is the only company that offers a SS exhuast which is made to fit and is a bolt-on without making my own systems which would be way more time consuming. So as much as I would like to jump ship I'm stuck with them. I did hear one on a carb'd 308 sometime ago and it sounded awesome, but it was quite awhile ago, and having not been in the car can't say how it compares to the Tubi. If anyone wants pricing on Stebro (which is difficult, as they never seem to cost exactly what is quoted due to the variation of exchange rates and other hidden charges incurred with a foreign transaction, but I'll do my best) I'll be happy to get a price and act as a middleman and pass on whatever discount I get to anyone on the list. I've gotten systems in as little as 2 weeks, and others have taken 2-3 months. Jeff -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [Ferrari] 308 Euro Exhaust From: "Hans E. Makes it sound more like a V8 and less like a 4 cyl. They also have removable tips for either quieter or louder volume. A club member was running a 308GTSi at Portland Raceway with the tips removed. You could hear it easily from the opposite end of the track - about a mile away. However, build quality - at least appearance-wise - is perhaps a little iffy. Welds a little scabby, etc. Hans.
