Hey gang, I'm not here to defend Renaldo, but we don't know what caused the accident and his Ferrari to be totaled. I think there are three major reasons for crashes. (1) Mechanical failure, (2) Driver error, and (3) Circumstances beyond the drivers control. Many much more talented drivers than Renaldo have died behind the wheel of a Ferrari for the above reasons. Ascari, Collins, Musso, von Tripps, and Villeneuve, just to name a few. Who needs to wait til the facts of the accident are made available? It's fun to kick a multi-million Euro earning Sports Star when he's down, isn't it? How self-serving have we become? I'm honored to be a part of a group of drivers who have never been in Renaldo's shoes. <g> Yer only human pal, Ferrari Bubba In a message dated 1/9/2009 7:16:57 A.M.
