I had the same feeling with my 250cc Suzuki enduro that I rode daily while
living in Honolulu for almost 2 years. Oahu is so small that you really don't
need a car.

But Tom, your faith in your abilities is one thing, but whether you're on
roller skates or driving a new F-22 fighter plane, there are always those
little unexpected little things that you have no control over, that decide
whether
you come back home alive, or whether they have to shovel you off the
countryside into a trash barrel en route to a closed casket funeral. Just ask
Jimmy
Clark. All the preparation in the world couldn't save him.

And your reference to God strikes a cord with me. Let's say there's a 100
million-to-one shot that there IS a God. Considering the consequences of you
don't believe, I'll take the believers' side on that one every time. It's a
no-brainer for me.

Rick,
I don't know of anyone who KNOWS there's a God. Think it's called
faith. Kind of like the feeling you have when you get into your Ferrari
(the one that threatens to kill you, and you have to prevent it) and go for
a pleasant drive. You have faith that your driving skills, experience,
local road knowledge, and good sense is going to get you where you're going
and back safely and with a good deal of joy. At least that's how I felt
almost each and every time I took out 'Mario' and brought him (and me) back
alive.
Yours in faith (in lots of things)
TominTulsa

there is a God but I interpret those words, translate to English from the
ancient text, to mean and everyone's SOUL is equal. It is blatantly obvious
that every person is NOT created equal.
