While I had my zipper replaced by an auto upholstery shop, admittedly those 
shops are disappearing.
My leather coat zipper broke - it had to be shipped out of state to be repaired 
- but mission accomplished...
Drop by your dry cleaners and ask them to help - there's one you'd never 
thought of.  I accidently 
wandered into that solution.
