Hey, thanks Larry T...
A couple of other seldom reported facts by our "impartial mainstream moron
media" about the U.S. involvement in Iraq....
1. It was President Clinton, not President Bush, who established regime
change in Iraq as our official foreign policy. Clinton was correct about
this as Saddam Hussein was the personification of consummate evil.
2. The U.N., as impotent as ever, issued 15 Iraq resolutions (since 2000)
that Saddam Hussein simply ignored. I suppose we could call this
"negotiation".
3. Saddam Hussein used WMDs against the Kurds. Saddam Hussein bragged about
his nuclear ambitions and was actively pursuing bomb components in the black
market.
4. Our intelligence community, whose capability was decimated under the
Clinton Administration in favor of social programs and a so-called balanced
budget, along with the intelligence operations of certain other free world
countries (notably, the U.K.), as well as U.N. inspectors and nuclear
experts....all concluded that Saddam either had, or was very close to
having, a nuclear capability.
5. It was the U.S. Congress that voted to send us to war in Iraq...including
Clinton, Schumer, Durban, Reid, Kennedy, Boxer, Feinstein, and a host of
other so-called "leaders". The Dems flipped on this when the war was going
badly and they could see the political advantage for the 2006 election, as
well as the 2008 election.

Iran is trying desperately to build a nuclear weapon and they will use it.
Listen to what Amadinejad says.he writes poems about the joy of being a
martyr nation. He gets to wipe out Tel-Aviv. Maybe the Israelis retaliate
and wipe out Teheran. He would accept that in a New York minute because he
believes that everyone in Teheran goes to heaven and everyone in Tel-Aviv
doesn't. It is very hard for secular elites to understand this. Religiously
driven people do things that don't calculate in nice academic faculty
surroundings.that don't calculate at the State Department..and don't
calculate in a rational way in most of our bureaucracies.
So, how do negotiate with a sovereign state whose position is to wipe Israel
off the face of the earth, with the USA to follow? I realize that our new
messiah has "hope". "Hope" should go a long way with the Iranians, I'm sure.

Attached is cartoon focusing on the issue. It portrays former President
Carter, who was a fool, as a supporter of Hamas.

Regards

Hi Dick,
You asked <<whether or not you think it is brilliant to conduct
Iranian negotiations without conditions>>

Of course, not. By the same token, the obama supporters who cheer at
the above comment
seem to think there was no negotiations took place in the *years* preceeding

armed conflict. There
seems to be thinking that GWB decided after lunch, "Hmmm, think I'll go
after that hussien
(sadam not obama)feller tomorrow, by golly. Hey, Dick, get me some bombers

warmed up."

Not only were there plenty of negotiations but dozens if not hundreds of

UN "thingies" requiring different
groups to do this or that. All of which was ignored.

Hey Dick - your opinion of the brain power of lawyers is accurate also.
The average income of lawyers if less
than $60k. That's a guess, the last time I saw the numbers was 1995 when it

was less than $45k. IIRC or if I
can recall at all ---

Sincerely,
Larry T (74 911, 91 300D 2.5T)
