Hey Jim  - The Europa was a quick little car when it was running ;-) but it 
was designed in the best C Chapman tradition - just enough will do.

It only weighed 1100 #s with a 85hp Renault engine - it was very  quick - 
but the pedals were so close I had to remove my shoes to drive it!

Owning that Lotus gave me the 1st indication of how people felt about those 
who own exotic cars.  Was in a auto parts store looking for some engine part 
and the saleman said, You own a Lotus - just buy a new engine!
