How were the earlier 4 cyl Turbo cars?  I know the V8 has a certain appeal - 
like lower rpm's - but IIRC the 4 cyl were
pretty quick.

What was the reliability like?

I always loved the styling of the Esprit - I still remember seeing it on the 
cover of R&T back in the mid-70s when it was still a show car.
