My very "first" sports car was a 1967 Triumph Spitfire, back in 1975.

I sold a 1957 Chevy (that I bought when I was 16), to purchase the Spitfire.

I wonder how many Listers ever had the joy of owning a Triumph Spitfire? I
bought one in 1988 (1975 model) and had it for 6 years in Florida (until I
moved to the UK). I learned auto mechanics on the car and over 60k miles (that I
put on it) I was never left stranded, not once! Several 1000+ mile trips.

Loved that car. My favourite along with the 328GTS.

Moved to the UK, thought I would get another one, looked at the weather and
though NO WAY!

Britt
