Dear Listers,
Remember all these years ago when I used to subscribe to the CPI Value
Guide (even BEFORE Black Book bought them out) and used to generously provide
pricing information to whomever asked?
Well, now I guess it's my turn. If anyone subscribes, or has any
realistic idea as to what a "fair condition" value would be for the following
cars, PLEASE email me.
1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
1976 Daimler Sedan Limousine (RHD)
1981 Lincoln Continental MK VI 2 seater (not your "normal" MK VI)
1975 Cadillac Sunrise El Grande (1 of 25 built)
???? Ford Model A with different, allegedly working engine.
(Notice I'm not even asking about the 1985 Winnebago Elandon motor home
that was the location of Dana Plato's death.) Of course all these can be seen
in their glory at http://www.members.cox.net/kjtar/tulsacollection.html
Obviously these cars are not running right now, so they're not even "fair" but
I just want some kind of figures, if possible.
And, I've contacted experts on the various marques, both in the Tulsa area
and nation-wide, and asked their opinions, talked to auction companies, etc.
We've received a few inquiries about some of the cars, and the owner is working
on her end (she's away from home at the moment) to get the proper paperwork,
etc. so anything that anyone can contribute will be appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Kind regards,
Tom Reyolds
Tulsa, OK
P.S. If anyone wants to discuss it over the phone, just email me and I'll be
happy to provide additional contact information.
