Ferrari Willi, Bubba, Red, Bill (etc.) I think the article's point was that Dan Gurney and the Eagle was the only American driver to drive an American car (actually Anglo-American) in Formula 1. The Scarabs were awesome cars, but they weren't F1 cars.
