Bertone was a bit scary.  They had closed a large manufacturing
plant outside of Torino, and their beautiful design campus in the
base of the Alps was a ghost town.

Here is a photo looking down into their basement where many/most/all
of their concept cars are stored.  This is just part of the basement,
as my camera didn't have a wide enough angle lens to get it all from
this viewpoint.  We had free run of the cars, climbing
in and around, playing with gadgets, etc.  The Bertone family was
very nice.
