Nice site Rick - somehow I missed press #3 for English. ah ah ah
Torino has many fine Car Guy museums too.
Would be traveling that far south?
F1 vintage races? Sounds like fun.
Ever do the Monterey Historics?
Anyway - pictures of course on your return.
Enjoy

Sweet! There's a museum in Maia, Portugal that is very similar.

Fantastic place. We'll visit it when we meet for the vintage F1 races at the Boavista Circuit in Porto!

Preserved - not Restored. Good words, Rick, and gaining
popularity.

In the Los Angeles area? Witness the Nethercutt
Collection. Merle Norman cosmetics. A museum of, as they
say, "Functional Art." Everything works. All cars
are gassed up, have oil (even the British cars) and are
ready to drive on the road. Many brass era cars are, as
well as newer twenties / thirties / and forties cars, NOT
restored. Just shined up - some thru the original paint -
and ready to go.

If you opened the URL above, on the second floor-center,
see the row of fluorescent lights? That's the cafeteria
for the employees. Ayep - 25¢ gets you a French Chefs menu
du jour.

Oh, yeah - and in their own words - It is "open to
the public at no charge." See hours of operation. I
think they are open everyday except Christmas and
Thanksgiving.

Worth the visit. Cameras yes - flash no.
