Hi Ed,
It's called British Heritage and a complete MGB Body was ~$9k a few years
ago for a 68-73 body. Mines a 66 so some mods would be needed - besides, for
$9k I could buy a kick-a$$ MGB! I ended up buying a rstfree MGB from So Cal or
Az, can;t recall - true enuf, no rust, at least none I've found yet. And it
came off the line within a couple hundred chassis' of my *real* MG. Plus I
got an extra engine, gearbox, suspension and interior - much of which I sold.
I also bought a 72 MGB from a shop iin Richmond Va - I offered $25 for the
fender and he said I had to take the whole car! Another engine, tranny, etc I
didn;t need - sold everything but the fender and the gauges, a door and some
fittings for $125 - *finally* made some $$s messing with old cars!! Not net
of course. ;-)

But back to the Heritage bodies - they are *very* nice and come complete
ready for running gear, glass, electrics and interior. Not a terrible deal,
but only if you must have perfection.

Hope everyone has a great week!

  Hi Larry,

There was a company in England, not sure if they're still around, but I
believe they are. They made up panels for old MG and other cars, using the
original forms and bucks. They even offered fully bodies. Was a much better
way for many to go, especially in tin worm heaven, over in England, than trying
to mess and restore an old car full of rot. I think they were called Heritage
or something??

    Hey Rick --
You bought it! Good for you! I'm sure you're enjoy driving it.
BTW,The sound is unique as you know. Not
Ferrari unique but unique just the same. I recenly installed an
Ansa exhaust on my MG - hopefully I'll
be able to start it soon and hear how it sounds.

Now the fun part (for me) starts - going thru all the systems
and planning their repair. ;-) finding parts, deciding
how to proceed - that kind of stuff -

BTW, I did a full restore on my 66 MGB and regret that was my
only choice. It's a major big deal to
do a project like this, much better to tackle small projects one at
    a time IMHO.

Good luck and pls keep us informed.
    .
