FWIW, I am very happy to report that since my return from deployment (late last year), I have made my old 1985 Euro 308 GTS/QV as my daily driver. If I know there will be rain/snow I leave it at home in favor of my old trustly 1991 Volvo, but over the past 2.5 weeks I've driven it every day to work (70+ miles round trip) except one day due to snow and another due to having to pick up greater than one child. Mom won't let me put any of the kids in the trunk so I had to take the Volvo that day. Hassles or whatever, I own a 308 and it's a car and I would prefer to drive it over the Volvo, the MB, the Sienna, etc every day, so therefore I do. My 57 Chevy has been in the body shop for a long long time, and just as soon as I get it back (soon) it will be my backup car instead of the Volvo. -matt '85 308 '57 Bel Air '39 P-III '78 450SEL '91 940 Turbo '04 Sienna
