Hey Lash: So just what in the hell were you doing out in the corn fields anyway? <g> Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba -----Original Message----- From: LS <lashdeep Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Sebring Questions I'm glad I missed that mess at the Indy USGP. Then again, I was there for the mess the first two years. You said the fights were in the grandstands...also in the corn fields a mile away... During practice, the drivers were 'greying out' in the corners due to pulling excessive G's. So . . . an hour before the race, most of the drivers, headed by Michael Andretti said that it was 'too dangerous', and wouldn't drive. So the promoters cancelled the race and refunded the price of the tickets. That was the good news. The bad news was that were were out RT air fare, rental car, hotel, and meals. Well over $1,000 dollars. Almost as bad as he trip to Indy for the Bridgestone only USGP. The only difference between the two races was at Texas, the fistfights were in the pits, and at the USGP, we had several break out on our grandstand. Talk about fun! I love the smell of tear gas in the morning and fans being hauled away in handcuffs! <g> Who else was there for that fiasco?
