Being in Malaysia (still) it was at 5pm for us, which is about the stupidest time to hold a race here. It IS GOING TO RAIN and if it rains it IS going to RAIN properly. As it did. Then the rubbish talk about doing 11 laps under the safety car to give full points. Hmm. Imagine the safety car driver trying to keep it fast enough, on the Island, for 11 or so laps. Then they do the figures and work out that they wont finish the 11 laps before the 2hr time limit is up (at which time it is getting dark, especially with overcast skies) The Malaysian race was a perfect example of "the Poison Dwarf" bureaucracy gone wrong. Its all about being at a reasonable time for European viewers. 9am for them, on a Sunday...hmmm. I'm just glad I didnt pay to go and see it. Yes, I agree it was a very entertaining race until they stopped it, which was probably the right decision considering the conditions. But it should never have been at that time. It has rained at around 4pm every day for the last 3 weeks. Serious tropical storms with massive downpours. Ferrari strategy? Do we have any at the moment? Any one of us could have done a better job in this race I think. Supposedly McKlunken has one of the worst cars but they keep beating us. Hmm I hope we can get it right before they really get their act together. Cheers Graham PS. Brawn - ex Ferrari, Barichello - ex Ferrari, Button - all around good egg. Just a shame it doesnt have a Ferrari engine.... :-) On Sun, Apr 5, 2009 at 10:57 PM, Rick Lindsay <rolindsay [at] yahoo.com> wrote: > > No kidding!
